Ambivalent aspects coexist in the image. The boundary between austere and sensuous, welcoming or aseptic, is ambiguous.
The sinuosity of the folds is contrasted by the geometric precision of the shapes, the inviting warmth of the water by the coldness of the metal parts.
The bathtub refers to the idea of care and purification. It is a space of intimacy and meditation.
The atmosphere here is suspended, in balance between what invites to silence, contemplation and soft movements, and an estranging, algid rigor.
The image highlights the intrinsic evocative potential of the forms, what is latent and allusive in them.
Everyday and anonymous objects, such as the tub and the towel, acquire meaningfulness. What transcends their functional and everyday aspects is made visible.

Alla sinuosità delle pieghe si contrappone la precisione geometrica delle forme, al tepore invitante dell’acqua, la freddezza delle parti metalliche.
La vasca da bagno rimanda all’idea della cura e della purificazione. È uno spazio d’intimità e raccoglimento.
